According to the New Haven Register, former HATEBREED drummer Nicholas Papantoniou was found guilty Thursday (March 3) of felony murder, first-degree burglary and criminal possession of a firearm in the October 2014 killing of a 56-year-old man.
Co-defendant William Coutermash told the jury that he and Papantoniou went to Larry Dildy's house in Hamden with the plan of stealing some pills or money. They claimed Dildy dealt pills and had a reputation for keeping large sums of cash in his house.
Papantoniou, 39, testifed in his own defense near the end of his trial, claiming the gun went off accidentally during a struggle tand that he found out Dildy died after seeing it on the news. He also said he and Coutermash did not discuss a plan for getting money or pills from Dildy. "I didn't know where he (Coutermash) was going," Papantoniou said.
Papantoniou will face up to 90 years in prison when he is sentenced May 26.
Man, this hangover is killing me. Feels like Pantera and Slayer are merrily smashing my neurons. Ive fallen straight in an apocalyptic scenario and zombies seem to be all over the place. Um, way too weird zombies, actually, as they are Hipster Zombies! Naked ankles, cuffed pants and dirty beards! The cemetery Ive just woken up in is as chilling as the cover in Master of Puppets. As deft as a concrete mixer I run away to find a shelter, survive, grab myself a beer and to kill em all! Seek and Destroy!
Set in an apocalyptic Turin, in which people have been turned into hideous Hipster Zombies, HipstApocalypse is a really peculiar epic adventure. This game is a tribute to metal icons: its main character has been clearly inspired by Lemmy Kilmister, while the sets are a mashup of essential records that will make every head bangers eyes twinkle with delight. The ironic storytelling and the dialogues recall some LucasArts projects, such as Monkey Island, Grim Fandango and more.
Cadaveria will be the second main character of the game. The Lady of Shadows will interact with the esoteric and mysterious part of the city, massively contributing to the plot.
Arm yourself with mosh, head banging and studs to solve the mystery behind HipstApocalypse!
HipstApocalypse is a pilot project by Gallab LTD, an indie game development company based in London. The concept art by Mirko Fascella gives the character design a personal, signature style. The soundtrack is made of original songs played by Italian underground bands.

The most legendary Death Metal band from Argentina VIBRION has inked a deal with Xtreem Music for the release of their long awaited 3rd album "Bacterya" which is set for immediate release in March 21st.
Now VIBRION returns stronger than ever with an album that is a fucking brutal fresh air into the so standarized Death Metal scene. "Bacterya" was recorded in September 2015 at Blackout Studios in Brussels (Belgium) by Jeremie Bézier and mastered by the mighty Andy Classen at Stage One Studios in Germany. The 10 songs included here displays a brutal yet heavy but above all, unique, original and personal brand of Death Metal of stunning quality that blends such varied elements from bands like IMMOLATION, CELTIC FROST, MORBID ANGEL, SEPULTURA, SUFFOCATION... into a unique entity that's VIBRION!!
Manzer return with their second full length album of their illustrious career this year, honing their special craft and establishing their brand of 'Pictavian black metal' around the world even more firmly. The album clearly is a tour de force, an outstanding effort which sees the band playing with the concept of black metal and giving it a new classic twist but keeping it within the fringes of the style. It's first wave black metal elaborated upon with heavy metal elements. It's rendered extremely potent and effective, not to mention downright refreshing. The French band are setting new standards and changing perceptions of the style, and it's easy to see how - their music is virtually the antithesis of something that's supposed to be extremely raw and minimalist. Manzer, who are vaguely comparable to a black metal counterpart of Deceased, eschew the typical trappings of the genre and go for the classic method of writing anthemic, semi-melodic, structured and immaculately concocted compositions replete with blazing solos, harmonies, tons of tempo changes, backed with a vigorous drum performance and unique vocals provided by the main man Shaxul.
