Hailing from the central region of Portugal, thrash metallers TERROR EMPIRE released their debut album, entitled "Face The Terror", on June 15th.
The name Terror Empire represents an omnipresent reality that has been exposed worldwide since the 9/11 attacks. Since then, there has been an official and paranoid propaganda in order to stifle and deprive all human beings from their individual rights, so they can be subdued to the ubiquous feeling of terror. The bands main focus has always been to produce a traditional thrash metal sound with traces of what has been part of the modern metal sound, such as odd time signatures, breakdowns and a bit of groove.
The recording process took place at the GMP Recording Studios from December 2011 to April 2012. Production was carried out by Rui Alexandre, and sound engineer Miguel Seco (Napalm Death, Robert Plant, Blaze Bailey, among others) was in charge of the mixing and mastering process.

Polish blackened death metal upcomers DEVILISH IMPRESSIONS have revealed the first track off their upcoming album "Simulacra" due to be released July 30th in Europe and on July 31st in North America. The track entitled 'Icaros', which also the first track on the album, can be listened by clicking here.
Despite having only two albums under their belt DEVILISH IMPRESSIONS quickly managed to put their name out there. Critically acclaimed records and intense touring along with some of the biggest names onto the metal scene made them one of the most promising acts on the European map of extreme music. After a row of personal problems that eventually caused several line-up changes and temporary stage absence, the band strikes back with the brand new opus called SIMULACRA and is now ready to take the scene by storm again.
SIMULACRA is the 3rd full-length by DEVILISH IMPRESSIONS, considered as one of Polands leading and most innovative modern black / death metal acts. Wrapped in breath-taking artwork created by Xaay (NILE, KAMELOT, NECROPHAGIST etc.) the album also features guest appearances of Orion (BEHEMOTH, VESANIA), Jacek Grecki (LOST SOUL) and Roman Berežnicki (LECTER) as well as session synth / samples / fx appearance by Flumen (ASGAARD) and Lestath (METRANSMISSIONAL).

Japan's devil-speed Thrash act FASTKILL have released a brand new tracked entitled "Die In The Pentagram", which comes off from the latest album "Bestial Thrashing Bulldozer".
The streaming for "Die In The Pentagram" is now available at the Pulverised Records SoundCloud Page.
Bastardized in the year 1996 with the intention to create utter barbaric and primitive Thrash Metal in its most stripped-down and true form, the group's latest album entitled "Bestial Thrashing Bulldozer" directly picked up from where FASTKILL left off from their previous full-length effort "Nuclear Thrashing Attack", promising the same hostile, savage and merciless Thrash Metal like no other.

DYING FETUS are set to release their new album Reign Supreme this Tuesday June 19th. Reign Supreme features nine tracks and is a "return to roots" with production focused slightly more on slam than in the band's last few works. Thematically, the album is set to be a good old-fashioned piece of social and political commentary in the style of DYING FETUS as we have come to know.
The band recently completed work on a video for the song "From Womb to Waste". The video features 12 camera angles from a recent live show at Maryland Deathfest held at Sonar in Baltimore, MD. The video was filmed and directed by Scott Hansen (Animals as Leaders, A Day to Remember).
RETALIATION/FINAL BREATH guitarist Dennis Schneider is one of three musicians who have recorded special guest appearances on "Icarus", the new album from German thrashers DEW-SCENTED. Schneider can be heard on the songs "The Fall Of Man" and "Perpetuated".
Commented Schneider: "I've been hooked on DEW-SCENTED ever since the release of 'Impact' back in 2003. When they asked me to do a few guest leads on the new album, I didn't hesitate one second. I'm really happy with the way it turned out 'Icarus' will rip your head off!"
Added DEW-SCENTED: "Dennis Schneider is an incredibly talented guitarist that has jammed with DEW-SCENTED in the rehearsal room before. In the production period for 'Icarus', the idea came up to have him be part of the actual album as well by adding some skillful lead guitar parts. Dennis appears with some furious shred on the songs 'The Fall Of Man' and 'Perpetuated'."
"Icarus" will be released on July 31 in North America via Prosthetic Records (one day earlier internationally through Metal Blade Records).
Victory Records has announced the signing of the South Wales, U.K. metal/hardcore outfit CONTINENTS.
Kerrang! magazine described CONTINENTS' sound as "energy-fueled epic-core with lots of aggression, a healthy blend of raw shouts and low end growls and foot stomping hooks."
"We've always tried to put our own passion for our music before external influence, the most important thing for us is that we enjoy the music we play, and if other people enjoy it too then that's awesome," said CONTINENTS vocalist Philip Cross. "We like to mix elements of our favorite styles and influences, and then put our own perspective on things to see where it takes us."
WARBRINGER's third album, "Worlds Torn Asunder", sold around 2,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD landed at position No. 11 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
WARBRINGER's sophomore CD, "Waking Into Nightmares", also opened with around 2,000 units back in May 2009 to debut at No. 14 on the Heatseekers chart.
"Worlds Torn Asunder" was produced and mixed by Steve Evetts (SUICIDE SILENCE, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, SYMPHONY X), and features artwork by Dan Seagrave, who designed WARBRINGER's previous album cover (in addition to art for bands such as ENTOMBED, SUFFOCATION and MORBID ANGEL).
