ULVER-"Messe I.X - VI.X" (26.08.2013)

Jester Records -2013- Norway

Ulver is one of those bands which courage I always admired. I am not a fan of most of their releases, but from time to time they surely can surprise with a good one that makes you want to hear it. This one is such a case. Again, it doesn’t have to do anything with their previous releases so if you are not sure about this one, you should first try to listen to it somewhere and then decide if you want to buy it. That is how I always do it with their music. This album is more of a soundtrack with very little spoken or sung words. The atmosphere can be sometimes creepy, sometimes happy and sometimes very enlightened and this makes it an album which you will surely life every second of it while you are listening to it.
